In today’s ever stressful and combative settings, it’s nice to know there’s somewhere to go where everything is blissful and serene. Go deep inside yourself through meditation, and find the cure for many of life’s illnesses. It’s not only drugs and surgery any more that help people heal and grow; nowadays it’s often good energy. “The single-most overlooked asset we have” offers Dr. Deepak Chopra, best selling author of 52 books, including The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, “is our mind.”
Chopra gained prominence in the early ‘90s when he launched his meditation teachings and his first book went viral. Since then, Chopra has built a global empire out of books, seminars, streams of content that include multi-media, licensing, software, and global partnerships. He recently added a small chain of national retail stores. His influence is so ubiquitous, in fact, that world leaders regularly invite Chopra to lead them in meditation and mastery.

When asked the secret of his success, the diminutive yogi responds that “I’m no different than you.” Chopra contends that we all have access to the same source of light. It’s all a matter of reception and attention. “Can you see what’s right in front of you? Or are you blinded by distraction?”

On amassing wealth, the Indian-born peasant turned billionaire says, "It’s easy." Still, how does it happen so rapidly?

Meditation can give clarity and focus in difficult times. Practitioners of high levels of mastery in meditation have reported ease of wealth, increased vitality, and easier acquisition of goals.

In some cultures around the world, meditation is a way of life.

Companies like GE, Bloomberg Media, and 3M have designated meditation areas at the workplace for employees to take needed meditation breaks during work hours.
Meditation is an ancient practice dating back to before written records were kept.

Meditation is a form of biofeedback in which one focuses on their own sympathetic and neurological reactions to control their internal physiology and clear away crowded thoughts. Meditation lowers blood pressure, increases circulation, and heals many diseases such as hypertension, stress, and heart disease.

Chopra explains, “My first question was, what is my message and will it matter to others? The next, how do I get my message out to the world? And finally, how do I keep attracting the wealth I desire and deserve? The answers–simply speak from your heart and have a pure message of love for all, make it easy for all to obtain, and make alliances with others who share the vision and seek similar results. I believe anyone can do it by growing a community. We’re all very powerful creatures. Making it easy for all to obtain was the hardest part, because not everyone will read a book. Some will listen, some will watch, and some will come. How do you reach your audience?

“Meditation is key in business,” adds Chopra “because it drives us from the source of our power and not the possessions of the outer world. Wellness and abundance are all about balance… Yin and yang, and push and pull. I have built my entire career on being balanced and sharing it with others.”
What Chopra knows most of all in life and in business is one has to give in many different ways. “Whatever you’re selling, making, or providing to the world, the customer wants options and choices. Give them what they want and come from your heart with loving energy. Then the money will flow.”

It sounds easier said than done, but it’s truly the simplest of paths as Chopra holds out his hands as though handing you the key to enlightenment. Chopra coaches to simply follow your vision and take time to listen to the quiet in the world. Chopra’s empire is estimated in excess of $1.25 billion.
