With Vudu there are no monthly fees; all you pay is the cost of the box ($299) and the movies you rent, which range from 99¢ to $3.99 for standard-definition and $3.99 to $5.99 for high-definition, or a fixed price for the movies you buy. The basic box can store up to 50 movies. Vudu receives content over a wired connection to your existing high-speed Internet; a wireless internet connection kit ($79.99) is also available.
